3D point clouds are increasingly becoming a distinct, high-performance geometry model type that is playing an increasingly important role in a growing number of application fields. The rapidly increasing volume of data is a challenge for processes, systems and applications that are confronted with increasingly dense, larger and multitemporal 3D point clouds.

ZIM-Cooperation Network

In this cooperation network, we identify and develop technologies for the efficient use of 3D point clouds for different fields of application and markets. In addition, concepts for specialist procedures and methods operating on it are to be derived.

  • Use in specialist procedures and embedding in GDI
