GEOkomm provides innovation services for small and medium-sized enterprises of the geoinformation economy and represents their interests towards politics and society.
Founded in 2002 as the Association of the GeoInformation Industry Berlin-Brandenburg e.V., we have been promoting innovation networks comprising of actors from the realms of economy, science and administration. We cooperate nationwide with companies and research institutes to develop innovative products and services and help ideas along to reach the state of market maturity.
GEOkomm promotes the networking of regional competencies as well as the exchange of experience in a regional, national and international framework. We support small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the innovation process and business development and create access to cooperating partners and networks.
We initiate and manage innovation networks with the aim of bringing companies and research institutions together across industries, identifying potential for innovation cooperation, and formulating and implementing joint R&D projects.
We contribute our extensive experience in the field of funding and provide support in assessing the innovation content as well as the risks and market opportunities, act as an incubator for innovations, network potential partners and support R&D projects..
With your membership, you help shape the future of the industry: We represent your interests on a political level at the state and federal level as well as with the EU. You have access to knowledge and technology transfer and to scientific services + exclusive use of the membership “go-cluster”, the “Club of the 100 best innovation networks in Germany”.

DMEA for Health IT industry and MEDICA World Forum of Medicine with international trade fair and congress.
With various event formats such as GEOkomm Networking & Innovation Summit, you will gain insight into current trends, political decision-making processes and the future of industry. Four times a year the GEOkomm Technology Salon offers an impulse lecture followed by a discussion round with representatives from business, science, politics and administration. Every 14 days, on Fridays at 11.00 a.m., the Technology Brunch offers a cross-network exchange of all members.
